ello and welcome to my Web site. My name is John L. Theiler.
I have no formal training as an artist; I'm self-taught. In my effort to learn, I worked in various mediums, including block and screen printing, pen & ink, and aquarelle. I also experimented with etching and drypoint. However, opaque painting became my favorite means of expression. I found that working in oils and acrylics in small format renderings best suited my artistic needs. My work has been accepted in national and foreign exhibits, and I've garnered several awards and sales. Displayed on Pages 1, 2 , & 3 are examples of my paintings. Page 4 is devoted to another passion of mine: Christmas art projects. Enjoy viewing the images, but I ask that you do not download them; they are my property.
